New team, Honda HRC will field a line-up at Rally-Raid Portugal competing in the Rally 2 category.  This team will feature two riders, Preston Campbell and Martim Ventura, racing the HRC-supported Honda CRF450 RX Rally.

Preston Campbell, 26, is the son of off-road legend and 11-time Baja 1000 winner Johnny Campbell. Growing up immersed in racing, the American has forged his own path, highlighted by victories at the 2024 Mint 400, alongside Monster Energy Honda HRCs Ricky Brabec and the Sonora Rally, which he won on his first attempt earlier this year.

Martim Ventura, 25, will enjoy home support as the Portuguese rider tackles the six-day event. Ventura comes into Rally-Raid Portugal with strong credentials, having won both the National Championship Baja Moto and the Baja Portalegre 2024. Drawing on his experience across the varied terrains of Portugal and Spain, he will be aiming for a podium finish.

The teams new adventure begins on Tuesday 23rd September, with the prologue in Grândola. From there, five demanding stages will challenge the riders as they cover nearly 2,400 kilometres, crossing Portugal into Spain before returning to the finish line in Lisbon.
